What are we about and who do we serve? We are a luxury wedding photography business that is dedicated to serving adventurous couples in Newport RI and coastal destinations around the country. One of the key things to know about us is that we are a husband & wife team who love Jesus! We work with couples who dream of getting married by the ocean. Couples who love to go "big or go home." Who desire an exquisite, Joy-filled wedding! Outdoor ceremonies by the seaside and places with immaculate architecture/ballrooms are our specialty! We pride ourselves on being able to capture candid moments and producing real emotion through our photographs while also catching those in-between moments as they unfold. We are very pet-friendly and specifically adore it when dogs are a part of weddings! We share a passion for pretty details, true love and couples who are just as "EXTRA" as we are. You should only have to get married once, so why not make it a stunning once in a lifetime event!? Both of us were born in coastal vacation spots so naturally, we LOVE seaside weddings. Nothing beats ocean air and seaside views in our book!
So what makes us different? Our contagious energy and ability to make even the most awkward person comfortable infront of our cameras. We have unique creativity that allows us to come up with "incredible" photo ideas in any situation. Our passion for people and their love for one another helps couples to know that they are not just another number to us and that we genuinely care about them, their feelings and also how much we care about their wedding day experience!
Why do clients choose us? Aside from our shared love for the coast and gilded age architecture, couples pick us because we bring them joy and excitement. Our personalities allow them to feel comfortable and free to be themselves. Couples also choose us because we make the photography experience fun for them and not boring. our background story
Newport is the place where our relationship was birthed. When we made things official, we had no idea that our relationship would turn into a business venture.
People always laugh because we're both from vacation spots (Jamal born in Newport & Lashana born in Cape Cod) and as a married couple it's ironic that we shoot weddings together in these places now.
Our style is composed of our love for film and all things soft, airy and bright. You'll never catch us wearing black at a wedding because our style is ingrained into our soul. Our goal is not to stand out as "the photographer" but to blend in with your guests as the "artists" that we are.

Our family is very important to us. our kids are our world and we have built this business together to not only support them, but to offer them a life we didn't experience growing up. Family getaways and fun beach trips are our favorite (aside from movie nights with popcorn). They have tons of energy so outings are a must! Hopefully we can include them in the fmaily business some day, if that's what they want of course!

We looooove exploring! We are wanderlusters at heart. Anywhere by the coast is key for us and throw in some good food and you can probably lure us anywhere. We believe everyone should travel and explore the world. There is too much culture and life experiences waiting to be discovered on a personal level. We are looking forward to traveling more as our kids get older too.
